Odbyła ponad 400 misji w Iraku i Afganistanie.
W marcu 2012 Lucca wykryła niebezpieczne maretiały wybuchowe i wzniosła
alarm, ratując w ten sposób cały pluton. Niestety w wyniku eksplozji pies
został poważnie ranny i trzeba było amputować przednią łapę. Mimo cierpienia i
zasługi Lucci pomogą szerzyć wiedzę i pomogą docenić wszystkie nasze pracujące
Gratulacje
Lucca!

In March
2012 Lucca detected dangerous explosives and raised an alarm, saving this way
the entire squad. Unfortunately, as a result of the explosion, the dog got
badly hurt and the front leg had to be amputated. Despite the suffering and
pain Lucca remained as gentle as always and only ten days after the unfortunate
event, she was able to run around on three legs.
After the
ceremony, her handler Chris Willingham said: "It is
very humbling to be part of this entire process. I think more importantly is
that Lucca's accomplishments are going to help bring awareness and recognition
to all our military working dogs and their handlers.”
Now Lucca is
enjoying a peaceful retirement life. She's been adopted by her handler and
together they visit army hospitals to cheer up its patients.
Well done
Lucca!
